All these tools and services are programs that I currently use myself and I highly recommend them!
Learning How To Become a Full Stack Web Developer
I’ve decided to list this first at it’s probably one of the most commonly asked questions I get.
Where should I learn web development and programming online? Although there are many places I can recommend the best by far is Team Treehouse.
Team Treehouse in my opinion is one of the best places to learn web development online. Their Tech-Degree programs are great places for beginners to get started.
Web Developing and Programming Courses
The following is a list of some basic courses to help get you started across a wide variety of web developing topics…
- Build Responsive Real World Websites with HTML5 and CSS3
- Advanced CSS and Sass: Flexbox, Grid, Animations and More!
- Complete Python Bootcamp: Go from zero to hero in Python 3
- WordPress for Beginners – Master WordPress Quickly
When it comes to web-hosting your going to need it to host a blog, website, portfolio or any kind of web online really.
Although you can use any web-host you like, and there are lots to choose from, I’ve always had really good service with Hostgator, and I highly recommend them!
Godaddy is also another great all in one option for getting a domain name and a website online quickly!
I do all my email marketing using Convert Kit. They have a lot of cool features and a great payment plan!
Zapier is a program that I use for automating simple tasks such as adding users to email lists and whatnot.
They have a lot of cool features and it can really up your workload. I highly recommend zapier if you are looking to grow your business.
WordPress is the main blogging platform that most of the web uses these days.
It’s super easy to get started with, doesn’t require that you know how to code and whats best of all is that it’s completely free!
Honestly, there’s nothing out there that’s better then WordPress right now.
Selling Online Courses
Selling online courses is something I’ve been doing online for quite awhile now and it brings it some nice passive income.
What’s best of all is that anyone can get started no matter who you are! There’s a few programs and platforms I’ve used over the years to help me sell my online courses and they are listed below:
Teachable is the best platform that I’ve come across when it comes to selling online courses from your own platform/ website.
They have free and paid plans depending on what your needs require. Check out Teachable here.
